Intercepting consistent RA-axis drift during 300s exposures. I have checked the tripod leveling and polar alignment (locked at 0.4″ accuracy). Could this be a backlash issue in the worm gear?

Check the cabling tension. In the cold air, my cables stiffened up and caused similar RA drift. Use silicone-coated wires.
